Tarrek is a disputes and litigation lawyer recognised for his disciplined analysis and calm handling of complex and sensitive matters. His regulatory practice extends to corporate regulatory actions and acting for medical practitioners facing immediate action by health councils, disciplinary proceedings, and complaints or investigations brought by the Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) or the Therapeutic Goods Administration, as well as defending clients in investigations and enforcement action initiated by ASIC, the ACCC and other state regulatory bodies.

Tarrek was admitted to practice in 2013 (NSW) and is also admitted to the High Court of Australia and the Federal Court of Australia. He speaks fluent Arabic.
