Ling Yang is a qualified lawyer in the High Court of New South Wales, Australia.

Ling joined the Commercial and Property team in 2018 and helped the firm’s Asian region expansion during 2019 as Head of the Asian Desk, based in Hong Kong.

Ling’s practice focuses on Australian inbound/outbound investments including trust, estate, and wealth planning for high-net-worth individuals as well as family groups. Ling also possesses expertise in Australian Family Law.

Ling participated in large commercial loan transactions involving property developers, syndicated lenders, and cross-collateralisation. She acted on behalf of companies with respect to establishing new business ventures, corporate governance and acquisition of shares or other assets, mortgages, and facility agreements. Her experience additionally includes international business with an emphasis on Greater China and Australia.

Ling holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of New South Wales and a Master Degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University, which assisted her in acutely recognising client’s business interests. Ling speaks fluent Mandarin and Cantonese.
