Dearna holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Notre Dame Australia and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology Sydney. Dearna was admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales in February 2021.
Dearna is experienced in commercial disputes, litigation, and insolvency. She has represented directors and liquidators involving alleged breaches of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). She has also acted for various individuals and private companies within a broad range of industries such as consulting, insurance, construction and engineering, technology, and agriculture, resolving disputes in relation to contractual breaches, partnerships, joint ventures and debt recovery.
Dearna has acted in legal proceedings before the Federal Court of Australia, Supreme Court of New South Wales and the Local Court of New South Wales. She has also appeared in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and in the Local Court of New South Wales.
